No Fucking Idea!

I just got back from the Simon Philips drum clinic, and it’s just short of being totally awesome. I mean, ok he may not be the best, or anything like my heroes (namely Dave Weckl, Steve Gadd, Dennis Chambers, etc), but still, to watch someone play fusion type of stuff in person, and to be so close too, it’s just amazing. What added to the amazing factor was that this is probably my first time attending a clinic. I even got a nifty looking pass to boot!

Anyway, before that I went to KLCC to meet up with Jimmy, where we had dinner at Kim Gary’s (again), and I think I’m getting a bit sick of their food, along with teh ais. Having 2 packets like almost every other day kind of kills your fancy for it, but I digress. After that we headed down to the MCA building to meet up with Ben and Jon. Met Zack from Cosmic Funk Express there too, some fellas from our college came too, and yea, went it, had a blast, came out semi-deaf (I think the ringing in my ears has stopped).

Went to MacD’s next to college for a drink with Jimmy before I dropped him home, and that’s about it. My Hari Raya/Deepavali holiday is the whole of next week, which I will be probably doing my project in that time, so yea, that’s pretty much my day. I’ve been slacking off gym lately and I’m hoping that maybe tomorrow I will make the effort to wake up at 8:30am to get there, which will be unlikely looking at the time now. Oh well.

I think I know why jazz has been losing its feel on me. I think cause I’m too depressed these days or something so I turn to the harder stuff for emo and release (and porn too). Sigh..

From experience I know that it’s never a good idea to tell the girl you like that you like her (unless you know for sure she likes you too, even then it’s hard to tell) because it more or less fucks your friendship up. If you never really had a friendship to begin with then by all means go ahead.

It really sucks having this burden on my chest that has been lately beginning to feel like it’s gonna explode. I wish I could tell what she means when she says something. I wish she knew how I felt. I wish it wouldn’t be this tough. I’ve liked many girls before and like Romi told me yesterday, there’s always this time when you know that this one is special - not necessarily the one, but special nonetheless.

There’s never a right time to tell her how I feel because everytime I think about it, my mind tells me not to, my heart tells me that it doesn’t want to be hurt again. Nothing happened today, but watching Romi get reduced to a blubbering mess really made me envy him; to finally be able to move on. Yea it sucks to be rejected, maybe lose a friend, but at the same time you get that heavy burden off your chest. I’ve always valued friendships, and I would even place it above relationships, so would it be selfish for me to forsake a friend, just to make myself feel better?

Relationships are messy, and even though there’s nothing better I’d like to do than to be with her, sometimes I have to think whether it’s worth all the heartache, and most importantly - lose something that we share right now that I value most.

I just heard from Fabian that there’s a Pimp My Ride - UK version! It’s hilarious, I mean before you know it the whole world will be driving around in cars that shoot bubbles out of the exhaust, and we’d have groups of cars to form a mini skate-park, or maybe mini drive-in movies, and possibly a juice bar!

So I was about to suggest to Fabian they should bring Pimp My Ride to Malaysia, but I thought better of it, because who needs a show to rice up a car in Malaysia, when Malaysians are more than eager to do it themselves, and cheaply too! Check out my Waja-Evo, or my Putra Impreza, perhaps a turbo Kancil to top it off with?

AHAHAHAHAHAHA…. can you imagine the hosts of the show trying to act all east/west side?

Hahaha, I can imagine it! We’d have all these Cina-ish people and throw in a couple of those Malay ricers, and we’d have a hit show!

So this is how I celebrate my 20th birthday. A day in college with a fucked up lecturer, and dinner with my mom and George.

Anyway thanks for all the well-wishes, and esp George for the two booster packs, hahaha!

Well I’m officially 20 now. It feels so old to say that, this must be like some..quarter life crisis or something :p

Hahaha, talk about stereotyping! Anyway, realized I haven’t been posting much recently. I think it’s due to the fact that Magic has somewhat taken over my life again, along with college work and practice, guess I’m a very very busy boy! I also have a lot of things that I’ve been wanting to blog about but I guess I need to recollect my thoughts, stuff about our rights, girls, society..bleh.
